One label, one code, one price.

You pay per label generated. Scans are free, for ever.

The rate we quote you is for the code and the platform. The label, carton or pouch, the printing and the roll are quoted by your printer.

What decides your rate

It depends on how many labels you make and what you switch on, so we quote it rather than guess.

  1. 01

How many labels you generate a month

The volume band your credits are priced in. It is read on a rolling month of labels generated, not on a contract.

  2. 02

One code on the label, or two

Multi, single or Dual Code — a visible shelf code alone, or a second one under a scratch panel or flap.

  3. 03

Whether Rewards or Warranty run on it

Authenticity alone, or the same code also registering a purchase or paying the trade.

  4. 04

How many messages your buyers receive

WhatsApp and SMS are billed at Meta's published India rate, with no markup. A brand that sends none pays none.

  5. 05

    The platform subscription

The console — dashboard, exports, new batches, message sending and reward payouts — is a subscription, quoted with your credits. If it ends, that access stops 15 days later. Labels already printed keep verifying.

Tell us your volume and the lines you want running, and we will come back with your rate in writing — with the volume bands spelled out, so you can see where you would land as you grow. We reply within 24 hours — usually the same day.

Quotes exclude GST. Navacara Infotech invoices against GSTIN 24CVVPS6735A1Z7. If you buy through a printer, converter or packaging supplier, they invoice you and we invoice them.

What a credit is

Six things worth knowing before your first invoice.

  • 1 credit = 1 label

A credit buys one serialised identity. On a Dual Code label that is the shelf QR and the hidden code under the foil together — one label, one credit, not two.

  • Charged when the code is made

Credits leave your balance the moment a batch is generated, because that is the moment the code exists and can be printed. Not at print, not at sale, not at scan.

  • Scans are free, and stay free

A label scanned once and a label scanned four hundred times cost the same. There is no per-scan charge, no bandwidth charge and no charge for the dashboard those scans fill.

  • Codes are dead until you activate the batch

A generated code verifies nothing. Printing QC activates the batch, and only then does a scan return a verdict. Activation costs nothing — it is a safety catch, not a paywall.

  • The print overrun costs credits too

Printers run about 10% extra to cover setup and waste. Those codes are generated, so they are charged. You activate only what passes QC, so the waste never verifies — but it is on the invoice, and we would rather you read it here.

  • Wrong batch? Cancelled is refunded

Cancel a batch before any print file has been built and every credit comes back, to the rupee, as a line in your ledger. Once a print file exists we cannot refund it: the printer may already hold codes that could reach a shelf.

What is charged separately

Four things, and none of them is a margin for us.

WhatsApp and SMS messages

AVRA sends nine templates today — one sign-in code and eight notices (reward credited, reward held, points expiring, voucher ready, payout paid, payout failed, programme ending, warranty registered). They go out over WhatsApp's Cloud API from AVRA's business number, and Meta charges per conversation at its published India rates. We bill you what Meta bills us: at cost, with no markup.

From 1 October 2026 Meta also charges for utility messages inside an open 24-hour window, which used to be free.

Reward payouts

The cashback is your money and it moves on your own Razorpay X or Cashfree account. AVRA is not in the money path, holds no float, and takes no percentage of a payout. Your gateway bills you its transfer fee directly. Two consequences worth knowing: a payout under one rupee is held rather than sent on Cashfree, and Cashfree publishes no list-transfers API, so the nightly both-ways reconciliation runs one way only for a Cashfree brand — which the console tells you on the settings screen, on every mismatch alert, and in an audit row on each run.

The pack itself

The label or carton, the film, the foil, the scratch panel, the printing, the die and the roll are your printer's, not ours. Ask them for the all-in per-label number. You now know which part of it is us.

Your own scan domain, and ERP integration

Neither is available today. When the domain arrives it will apply to batches generated after the change — a printed code carries its URL inside it, and nothing already on a shelf can be re-pointed. Integration is quoted as work, not sold as a product.

What counterfeits cost you

Your numbers, your assumptions, worked out in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no form in front of the answer.

Every assumption below is on screen and every one of them is yours to change. We have set them deliberately low, because an estimate that flatters the seller is worth nothing to the buyer. If the result looks small, change the numbers to the ones you actually believe — that is what the fields are for.

Mechanics choose the part; the fake sits beside the genuine one on the same counter. A starting point, not a statistic.

What counterfeits may cost you a year

Enter your units a year and your average selling price, and the figure appears here.

  • Gross profit displaced by counterfeits—

Enter your units a year and your average selling price.

  • Warranty claims settled on the wrong units—

Off until you enter warranty claims a year and a cost per claim.

  • Channel spend that misses the person who sold the unit—

Off until you enter a channel or trade scheme spend.

This is not a promise that anything recovers that figure. Nothing does, entirely. It is your exposure, on your assumptions, and the judgement is yours.

Exposure is rounded down in every line. The assumptions start at 30% of fakes being a sale you would have made, never 100%.

What you get, by what you print

Your rate changes with volume. Nothing else does.

Every product line — Verify, Warranty, Rewards, Signal — is on at every volume, from your first thousand labels. What changes is what you print on the label, and the table below is that table.

What each label line can do. Your rate changes with volume; what a label can do changes with what you print.

Notes to the table

  1. 1Price per label — identical across every line; what you print does not change what you pay, only how many. Identical across every line. What you print does not change what you pay — only how many you print does. Ask for a quote.
  2. 2Shelf QR, scannable by a plain camera. A standard QR opening https://<domain>/s/<code>. No app, on any phone.
  3. 3Second factor on the label. The half a photograph of the shelf label cannot reproduce. A photographed QR replays; a code under foil does not.
  4. 4Code length and alphabet. 10 characters over a 31-character alphabet with the look-alikes removed — about 8×10¹⁴ possibilities. Guessing a live code is not a strategy.
  5. 5Default verifications before SCANNED BEFORE. Frozen at generation, per batch. The buyer's own re-scans on the same device never count against it.
  6. 6Batch Activation — codes dead until printing QC passes. A stolen print file or a press overrun verifies nothing, because the batch was never activated. This is the answer to 'what stops my printer running extra'.
  7. 7Block a batch after it has shipped (recall). Every code in the batch returns RECALLED from the next scan onward.
  8. 8Cancel window — full credit refund. Available until any print file has been built. After that the printer may hold the codes, and refunding would be paying for labels somebody can still put on a shelf.
  9. 9Print files: CSV, print-ready SVG ZIP, Excel with QR images. One column per thing — label, qr, then qr2 or scratch. Plus manifest.csv and SHA256SUMS.txt so QC can match a roll to a batch and prove the file arrived whole.
  10. 10Minimum print size. 15 mm at 600 dpi, quiet zone intact, matte white, no gloss varnish. Error correction M on the shelf QR, H on the one under foil — foil abrades it.
  11. 11Verdicts returned. GENUINE: issued by us, in a batch activated on a stated date, within its verification count. VALID: the shelf QR looks right, confirm with the hidden code after you buy. SCANNED BEFORE: this code has been used up. RECALLED: the brand pulled this batch.
  12. 12Facts a buyer can check on the page. Up to five per product (permanent truths) plus five per batch (expiry, MFG, offer end, special price). A batch fact overrides a product fact of the same name.
  13. 13Consumer fake report with photo and location. The report belongs to the brand and is worked by its partner. The reporter's phone is visible to the owner and erased after 90 days.
  14. 14Tamper-evident by construction. The QR carries nothing but an opaque code. Every field on the page is fetched from the issuer's record at scan time, so a forged QR cannot carry forged content.
  15. 15Registration on the genuine scan. Phone, OTP, consent, then three questions: when, which shop, their pincode.
  16. 16Warranty card over WhatsApp. One template, avra_warranty_registered, on the existing queue. Meta charges per conversation — see 'What is charged separately'.
  17. 17Term and expiry. Set per product in months. The expiry is computed once at registration and frozen — shortening the term next year does not shorten this buyer's cover. No term set means no expiry claimed, and the card says so rather than inventing cover.
  18. 18Claims workflow, RMA routing, transfer on resale. Deliberately not built. This line records the purchase and answers the care desk; it does not run your service network.
  19. 19Hidden reward code, claimable once. Derived from a per-batch secret encrypted with the brand's key. There is no plaintext at rest, and a retried export cannot produce different codes for labels already printed.
  20. 20Pays only after the shelf QR was verified on the same device. Default on. It is why a reward cannot be claimed off a shelf label somebody photographed in a shop.
  21. 21UPI payout account. The brand's own Razorpay X or Cashfree account. AVRA is not in the money path, holds no float and takes no cut of a payout.
  22. 22PAN collection and TDS under section 194R. PAN is required once a member's successful payouts pass ₹20,000 in a financial year. There is a TDS CSV per financial year for your finance team.
  23. 23Velocity fraud rules. Rolling 24-hour caps on claims, payout and spend. A breach HOLDS the claim for a human to look at — it never silently rejects it, and a held claim is released or rejected from the console.
  24. 24Campaigns — many offers under one programme. A campaign has a rate, a window, a budget and the batches it applies to. The budget is checked live against the claims and locked inside the claim's own transaction, so it cannot be overspent by two people clicking at once. You are emailed at 80% and 100%.
  25. 25Available on a single-code label. Refused on purpose. A single label's one code is printed in the open, so the reward would be claimable off the shelf by anyone with a phone.
  26. 26Scans by city. Approximate, resolved from the scan IP against an offline database at scan time. It never fails a scan and never calls a third party.
  27. 27State map from scan IPs. Stops at state on purpose. Carrier-grade NAT puts a Nashik scan on Mumbai's gateway — the wrong city and the right state. A map that is confidently wrong starts investigations into distributors who did nothing.
  28. 28Pincode map from what a human typed. Exact, because a member or a buyer entered it on a claim or a registration.
  29. 29Clone-attack alerts. The same code used from distinct IPs beyond its verification limit.
  30. 30Unactivated-code alerts. Ten or more of your own unreleased labels scanned in a week — the signature of a leaked print file, caught before a single one could have verified.
  31. 31Purchase data: shop, pincode, price paid, buyer or trade. Optional on every claim. The button works with every field blank, because a reward conditional on answering buys bad data. Reported as aggregates only, every figure with its denominator.
  32. 32Public share link — a read-only report you can send. An unguessable URL you create, rotate or revoke; rotating kills the old link instantly. No personal data and no IPs on it.
  33. 33Brand login into your own console. One live login per brand.
  34. 34Scan-event retention. The IP is truncated to a /24 after 30 days, the browser reduced to a family after 90, the device token cleared after 400. The scan row itself is kept — it is your data — and by then it holds nothing personal.
  35. 35Data ownership. Your scan data is yours. AVRA processes it and does not sell it or use it for anyone else. Your partner sees only the brands it serves.
  36. 36Self-serve export of the serial registry and scan history. Specified and not yet built — see the continuity page for exactly what it will contain.
  37. 37Your own scan domain. Not available yet. And when it arrives it applies to batches generated after the change — a printed code carries its URL inside it, and nothing on a shelf can be re-pointed.
  38. 38API keys for the print line. On the roadmap. Today a batch is generated in the console or from a CSV.
  39. 39Online card checkout for credits. Today credits are invoiced.
  40. 40ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certification. We do not hold these. We will say so until we do.

Questions we would rather answer here

What happens to my printed codes if I stop paying?

They keep verifying.

A label you have paid for keeps answering. Stop buying credits and you stop making new labels — the ones already on shelves go on verifying, because the credit was spent when the code was made.

What lapses is platform access: the dashboard, exports, new batches, message sending and reward payouts stop 15 days after a subscription ends. We will not turn a label on a shelf into a suspect one to settle an invoice.

What happens if you leave

Do unused credits expire?

No. A credit sits in your balance until a batch consumes it, and every movement is a line in an immutable ledger you can read in the console.

What if I cross a volume band in the middle of a month?

The band is read on a rolling month of labels generated. Crossing it reprices your next credit purchase. We do not reprice credits you have already bought and we do not send a back-dated invoice. If you are close to a band, tell us and we will price the purchase at the band you are heading into rather than the one you are leaving.

Is this per label or per scan?

Per label. One credit becomes one label's identity at the moment the batch is generated. After that the label can be scanned once or four hundred times and the price is the same — by the buyer checking before purchase, by the same buyer again at home, by the electrician fitting it, by your own QC. There is no scan meter anywhere in this product.

What does my printer add on top?

Their own work: the substrate, any security feature (hologram, void foil, destructible face stock), the scratch panel, the printing, the die, the roll and their service. We do not set that price and we do not see it. Ask us for the part of the quote that is ours, in writing, and you can have an informed conversation about the rest.

Can I buy from AVRA directly?

The three-party model is deliberate: the printer already sells you labels, already knows your artwork and already has a relationship with your packaging team. Undercutting them would make AVRA a worse partner to the people who actually reach brands. If you do not have a printer, tell us where you are and we will introduce you to one.

What does a GENUINE verdict actually prove?

Exactly this, and we would rather write it out than let you assume more: this code was issued by us, it belongs to a batch that a printer activated on a stated date after QC, and this scan is within the number of verifications that batch was configured to allow.

It does not prove that the thing in your hand is the thing the code was stuck to. Nothing that fits on a label proves that. What the Dual Code does is remove the cheap attack — photographing a shelf label and reprinting it — because the second code is under foil and claims once. What Batch Activation removes is the other cheap attack — a stolen print file or a press overrun — because those codes were never activated and verify nothing.

How verification works, and where it fails

What if I print more labels than I ordered?

You will, and you should. Printers run roughly 10% extra to cover setup and waste. Those codes are generated, so they cost credits, and your invoice counts them. They are also harmless: you activate only what passes QC, so the overrun verifies nothing, and if a sheet of it walks out of the print room it stays dead. The console raises an alert when ten or more of your unreleased labels are scanned in a week, which is what a leaked print file looks like.

If we re-export a batch, do the codes change?

No. A re-export produces the same codes, including the hidden ones, because they are derived from one per-batch secret rather than stored. That matters when a print file is lost halfway through a run: the reprint pairs correctly with labels already on the roll. There is a test in the repository whose only job is to prove this.

What if we change printers?

Your brand, your products, your batches and every code already printed stay exactly where they are — they belong to your brand, not to the printer's account. Moving means we re-point the brand to the new printer's account, and the new printer buys credits for your next batch. Codes already on shelves are untouched.

Can I see the label before I commit?

Yes, and you should — a printed pack is a physical thing and a screenshot proves nothing about it. Ask your printer for a sample on your own substrate with live codes on it, scan it with your own phone, and scratch one. A code proofed on paper and printed on shrink film is a different scan.
